The Elite Circle Résumé Contest recognizes outstanding résumé writing and celebrates the expertise of PARWCC members. This contest showcases the best work produced by professional résumé writers and provides an opportunity for industry recognition among peers.

Winners are announced during the Thrive! Conference, where the profession’s top talent is celebrated and highlighted.

Entries in this category showcase résumés crafted for Chief Marketing Officer-level candidates, demonstrating the ability to position senior marketing leaders with compelling narratives, quantified achievements, and executive-level presentation.

Project Manager

Project Manager

Entries in this category highlight résumés written for Project Manager candidates, reflecting expertise in showcasing methodology, leadership, and measurable project outcomes in an ATS-friendly format.

Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative

Entries in this category feature résumés for Customer Service Representative candidates, demonstrating skill in articulating client-facing strengths, performance metrics, and soft skills effectively.

Executive Assistant

Executive Assistant

Entries in this category present résumés written for Executive Assistant candidates, highlighting the writer’s ability to convey organizational acumen, confidentiality, and high-level support skills.

Participants may submit one résumé per category, for a maximum of four submissions total.

Eligibility

    • Open to all current PARWCC members

    • Participants may submit résumés previously created for clients or original work developed specifically for the contest

    • If submitting a client résumé, all identifying information must be removed to maintain confidentiality

Entry Requirements

    • Résumés only — cover letters are not accepted

    • Must represent the final product you would deliver to a client for online applications and should be ATS-friendly

    • Must be submitted as a PDF file

    • File names must include the entrant’s name and category (example: JohnSmith-CMO.pdf)

    • All personal information must be removed from client résumés to protect confidentiality

    • CPRW exam materials, information, or content may not be used in submissions

Submission Process

Contest entries must be submitted through the official submission form before the deadline. When submitting your entry, include your name and current contact information so the contest team can reach you if your résumé is selected as a winner.

Participants will receive an email confirming receipt of their submission. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Awards & Recognition

A total of 13 winners will be selected across all categories. Winners are announced during the Thrive! Conference, and attendees receive a booklet featuring the winning résumé submissions. Participants do not need to attend the conference to win.

First Place (each category)

  • Free one-year PARWCC membership
  • $300 credit toward PARWCC training

Second Place (each category)

1. Who may enter?

All current PARWCC members.

2. What are the contest categories?

3. How many entries can I submit?

You may submit one résumé entry per category – for a maximum of four submissions.

4. What constitutes an “entry”?

A résumé representing your best work – no cover letters will be accepted. You can submit an original résumé or a résumé you have previously developed for a client, but remember to anonymize the content.

5. Does my submission need to be ATS-friendly?

Yes. Your entry should be a representation of the final product you would give to a client for online applications.

6. Do I have to be present at the Thrive! 2025 Conference to win?

No; however, the winners will be announced at the conference, and conference attendees will receive a booklet containing the winning submissions.

7. What will contest winners be awarded?
  • The overall winner will receive a free one-year PARWCC membership and a free ticket to the Thrive! 2026 Conference.
  • The first-place winner of each category will receive a free one-year PARWCC membership and a $300 credit toward any PARWCC training.
  • The second-place winner of each category will receive a free one-year PARWCC membership.
  • The third-place winner of each category will win a $100 credit toward any PARWCC training.
8. How many winners will be chosen?

There will be 13 winners. We will select one first-place winner, one second-place winner, and one third-place winner from each of the four categories as well as one overall winner.

Usage Rights

By submitting an entry, participants grant PARWCC the right to use the résumé content for training materials, marketing initiatives, and educational resources. This allows the association to showcase best practices and promote excellence within the profession.
